$120K - $152K a year Marsden Medical Physics Associates is looking for a diagnostic medical physicist to join our medical physics consulting group.
Job Description:
The candidate will join our team of diagnostic physicists and provide services for medical imaging and nuclear medicine facilities.
The successful candidate should have competency in performing quality control for all imaging modalities including mammography, radiography, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, PET, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, dental cone beam CT, and ultrasound.
Duties to include Equipment testing for all diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
Nuclear medicine department audits and equipment evaluations Participates in radiation safety and quality control programs.
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.
Job Location:
We are located in northern NJ and this position will require travel in the NJ/NY metropolitan area.
No overnight travel is required.
Minimum
Qualifications:
The successful applicant must be board certified or working toward ABR parts II and/or III.
Candidates must hold a master's degree or higher in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP accredited graduate program.
