While this is primarily a remote position, we do have occasional in-office meetings (Boonton, NJ) so candidate should live within driving distance.
Job
Responsibilities:
Execute a results-driven social media strategy for external brands as well as internally.
Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms - copywriting and visual design/development.
In addition to creating content, direct out-of-house creators when necessary.
Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
Collaborate with internal team to create a social media calendar.
Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Interact directly with clients.
Qualifications / Skills:
Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools Proficiency with social media design programs, video and photo editing tools, and digital media formats Excellent social listening skills Commitment to maintaining knowledge of current trends in the digital content and social media space Social copywriting (including hashtag/emoji usage) Top-notch communication skills Impeccable time management skills Detail-oriented approach with ability to maintain schedule and meet deadlines Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree in marketing or a related field (or proven supersonic social media talent that supersedes this qualification) 1-3 years experience with social media marketing or content development Direct experience using social media management tools Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus HOURS This is a PT position starting at approximately 8 hours per week with potential to grow.
$30/hour.
