We are seeking a skilled Dispensary Inventory Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping receiving, distribution center management, analytics, financial analysis, inventory control, and data visualization.
Job Summary This position reports to the General Manager and the Assistant General Manager(s), and is responsible for the back of house daily operations of the dispensary including, but not limited to, the following duties:
knowledge of and compliance with cannabis laws and regulations, proficient in inventory receiving, inventory management and inventory control systems, order fulfillment and order processing, daily sales tracking and reporting, accurate recordkeeping and sales management, managing staff, customer and team communication and education.
Responsible for the efficient and accurate fulfillment of sales orders in anticipation of their delivery.
Oversees the selection of packaged finished goods from inventory storage for sales order preparation and transfer to transportation team for delivery.
Duties:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the dispensary back of house, including order fulfillment, pre-order pick-up, inventory control and management, receiving and processing cannabis inventory for sale Oversee outbound / order fulfillment (OF) operations, including sales order release, pick operations, manifest, overpack and quality check Ensure that all OF functions are processed accurately while auditing and record keeping Maintain real-time accurate inventory records in compliance with SOPs and all regulatory requirements Ensure segregation and documentation of expired, damaged, or recalled cannabis products Maintain organization of Finished Goods inventory, facilitating accuracy in order picking and packing Working through point of sale systems, accurately record and manifest all customer orders Lead daily cycle counts and oversee opening and closing inventory reconciliation Manage KPIs and standard operating procedures Monitor inventory levels and assist the Assistant General Manager(s) with placing wholesale orders and managing compliant deliveries, as needed Confirm packaging and marketing labels are correct on finished goods Confirm products' unit counts and compliance labels match dispensary manifests, ensuring no rejections nor complaints from customers Provide leadership and training to order fulfillment staff Maintain an orderly shipping area Assist in scheduling customer orders based on delivery availability, on-hand inventory, and customer requests Initiate corrective actions and communicate with management
Experience:
- Proven experience in managing a cannabis dispensary or similar retail environment.
- Strong background in inventory control, financial analysis, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with Metrc and Dutchie is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to stock, analyze, and interpret sales data effectively.
