You must be hard-working and honest, willing to work 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some overtime and earlier starts during peak season and rotating Saturday shifts.
A positive outlook and a willingness to learn are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections for pests, pest harborages, and pest entryways - Determine, recommend, and provide pest management services - Inform customers how to reduce pest pressures - Prepare written reports for customers and explain services - Operate and maintain service vehicle and other service equipment - Safely utilize, secure, and store pest management products and materials - Document service activities and complete/submit a hard copy and electronic paperwork - Maintain licenses, certifications, and registrations as required - Cross and upsell services to new and existing clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer-facing positions (customer service, retail, service industry, etc.
).
No pest experience is required, but it is a plus - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - A willingness to learn and a curious spirit - Ability to handle a physical workload, extreme temperatures, heights, and confined spaces - Clean NJ driver's license A MUST.
A pre-employment DMV and criminal history background check will be performed.
