Description/Job Summary
General Description
The automation technician supports all aspects of the front end automation equipment; including programming, general house cleaning, trouble shooting, and repair; he or she also maintains detailed reports of system problems and applied solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provides manufacturing support for automation equipment and other machines as needed
Maintains and improves reliability of equipment
Trouble shoots and adjust manufacturing PLC (Schneider Programming knowledge is a plus)
Skills and Education
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a technical discipline preferred.
3 - 5 years in an engineering or manufacturing environment including hands-on relevant experience evaluating automated equipment and processes and solving automated equipment issues.
Maintenance program (TPM preferred)
Robotic programming skills to refine movement using various controllers.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Robotic equipment programming knowledge.
PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience using industrial controllers.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
Good methodical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment and related issues.
Must be organized with the discipline to solve problems with permanent solutions
Experience with Automation Projects and Industry 4.0 is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
